Frequently Asked Questions

  • This is for MEA alumni in the midst of a midlife-edit. It is for those who want to delve deep to find out what they really want and who they are on their way to becoming. They want to get in touch with a wiser, quieter part of themselves, one they sense might already have the answers they are looking for.

  • We are seated opposite each other in a quiet room. The camera is by my side. I ask you some catalytic questions. Ones that invite you into a profound conversation with yourself. You rest with those questions for a few moments in silence. Then, when you are ready, you begin. I listen and hold space. Relaxed and uninterrupted, you find your way gradually to a place of deep, quiet knowing. The camera records you as you find and speak your truth. I gather those moments into a condensed film I give to you. Digesting it in the weeks that follow, you come to see and to know your Self as perhaps never before.

  • Absolutely. Journeying in on camera with others present to bear witness is a powerful way for a person to feel more deeply seen and heard by others.

  • Totally understandable if you do. But it's unlikely to be for long. People hit their stride pretty quickly once they realize I'm really just listening and they can talk about virtually anything they want to. They actually forget the camera is even there. They also relax in the knowledge that what they talk about is going to be held in the strictest confidence, and that they are the only ones who will ever see their film.

  • I distill the full-length recording down into a 2-5min. highlight reel. I send it to you 4-6 weeks later. It captures the look in your eyes and in your tone of voice as you suddenly say out loud things you didn't know you knew. You watch it on your own. We connect after that via Zoom (if you'd like) to debrief and discuss what happened for you.
